Sh
I am sitting still in a speeding car
Dog tired after a terrible night shift
My body begging me for a little sleep
I look left
And then I look right
To see a bunch of trees and buildings racing extremely fast on both sides
My seat is so comfortable
I hear no sound
And I lock my eyes
I'm all eyes again looking straight
The five tongues of my hand licking the wrinkles across my forehead
The whole city is running away
The dark woods are escaping
From where I asked this old cab driver to take me
I relax
The way I usually do
Loosening every inch of my muscles
And putting my body in a position
It would take falling dead
And I relax
I am lying still in my soft couch
Tired after an ominous cab ride
I feel fine
Now that all the woods and cities
Have run away from here
A state of relative immobility
A state of silence repose
Lack of concern
A state when weakens
The intensity of vital activities
A comfortable armchair
Tranquil tranquility serene sh serenity
Silence peace
The patient needs rest
Cosmic silence
To disturb someone's ease
Tranquility is all around
A thought keeps bothering me
Leave me alone
It won't
Sleep repose doze assuaging shift of colors
To go to sleep to take a rest
Imperturbable life
Immobility relative immobility
Still
Eternal repose
Death
To have no rest
Unrest
To move incessantly
Work
To function to run errands and amuck
To quit the job
To resign the office
To forget all the languages
To forget everything and everybody
To forget having forgotten them
The sun is still in the sky
But it's dark
Due to abrupt decline of speed of light
Loosened muscles
Staring eyes
Thin wind blowing through the closed window
Thin window blowing through the closed wind
No other sound
No sound
Silence
Silence is a word
Negating the word
I can't even hear the habitual LADP sirens
My inner sirens announcing
The incessant pursuit of
The criminal lurking inside me
Must have deafened me
Half glances
Sleepless nights
Sleepy days
From east to west
The sun passed
People tumbled down
Like dominoes
Silent flies drinking the first menstruation
Of a little homeless girl sound asleep late at night
Ants carrying the drunk flies
On their backs
Ants getting squashed
Under the shoes of early-in-the-morning people
Elbowing their way out to work
People getting squashed
Under work
To get out of a desperate situation
Find any door saying "Exit"
Open it and enter
Fish in the aquarium watching people move around
Fish settle their nerves
I take a look at my 6-year-old niece's drawing
Of Jesus laughing his head off in sobbing Mary's arms
And I smile
You are more like me than yourself
And I am more like you than myself
The very endeavor to be different
We imitate from each other
The movie imitates the life which imitates the movie
I'm lying on the floor of my room
From where I'm soon going to be kicked out due to insolvency
And I'm patting the keys of my computer without rush
Without care
